In other news, I relaxed last night by going to a Malay cultural music & dance performance at the Esplanade. I went because my sister was one of the performers. It was nice - I enjoy music, especially when it's live. Non-live Malay traditional music has a way of boring me, I don't know why. I went with some of my cousins, and had supper with them later. I reached home past midnight, and my sister was already asleep in bed. I think it's the first time in a long time that I've reached home after her.

This morning I woke up early, and did some yoga. Is it normal to be sweating while one does yoga? I did the poses from the first two sections of Celia Hawe's book. I'm going to try to wake up with a bit of yoga more often. If only it doesn't get so rushed in the mornings before I'm off to work.

Now I'm off to doing something for a gift for a friend, and later I'm going to the post office for some packing supplies, so that I can pack stuff off for friends. And I've got a wedding reception to attend tonight. So little time, so much to do.

Oh, and I broke the 10K steps mark last night. I was immensely shocked and proud, because the whole of last week, I think my highest step count was only 7K, and in fact on most days I didn't even hit 5K. I'm glad I can show myself that I can hit 10,000 steps a day.
