| 1:48 PM Went to Yan's wedding on Saturday. It was a nice, intimate setting and the most low-key Malay wedding I ever attended. Then again, it was an inter-racial wedding, so I guess it wasn't meant to be a traditional Malay wedding. The couple, Yan especially, looked so happy and blissful, and I in turn, felt so happy for her. I'm very glad this relationship is working out for her far better than her previous one did. I just wish them all happiness. Candy, Jan and I left the reception early-ish in the evening, and we decided to go hang out at the Esplanade. Coincidentally, the show my sis was involved in was still on, and so I ended up watching it again. But no harm, I could ogle the dancers again, haha. Jan and Candy said they enjoyed the music and dance, in spite of the language barrier. I'm glad to hear that. It was basically traditional Malay music and dance, and for some reason I only can stand traditional Malay music when it's 'live'. I guess it's because 'live' performances engages me more than listening to it on the radio or CD. After that we all just went home. All in all, 2 performances in two nights, and a wedding reception, I think I had a nice, relaxed weekend with people who matter to me. Sunday I basically slept a lot. Things I need to save up for:
Sigh. And now, back to work. -
