| 3:58 PM I've been going to the gym about 3 times a week. Eventually I would like to make it 4 times a week, but laundry does add up. And I discovered I need more workout bras and pants if I was to go more frequently. Add to that a new workout bag, to make my life easier shuttling from home to office to gym and back home again for a few days weekly. It's been good. Mainly I've been hitting the treadmill and some of the weights machines. Last Wednesday I went for my first fitness class in a long time. It was just low-impact aerobics and I had problems with coordination and my weight getting in the way (heavy me, therefore, not so agile me) rather than general tiredness and all. But after the class - I ached for the whole weekend. Seriously. Without the miracle that is Tiger Balm, I would probably be bed-ridden. As it was, I had to skip more aerobics and yoga classes while I limped pathetically around the house over the weekend. So the gym thing is starting out well. Weight loss isn't happening yet but I've told myself it's too early for anything yet. If satisfactory weight loss doesn't occur after three months, I'm seeing the doctor for some medication. And to check whether I'm ok overall. My weight is really scaring me. I'm too young to weigh this much, and the spectre of obesity-related diseases is looming far too largely over me these days. I'm having insomnia these days. I don't know whether that's stress-related or work-related. I'm guessing the former. It's causing misery for me, and I was hoping the frequent exercise might help me out with this, but it doesn't seem so yet. Maybe when I start yoga later this week. Does anyone has tips on how to eat smaller meals more often? I'm practically eating just salads these days for meals, yet I worry about the weight loss not happening. :( I was thinking maybe the frequent small meals could do the trick. -
