My Bookshelf - want a book?

Eid and a possible new phone

It's Eid. I spent the day at my aunt's place, eating and drinking, eating and drinking, meeting almost all my aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews from my dad's side. I wished I'd gotten a new camera-phone so that I would at least have some instant pictures to show you guys. But cautious me decided to put off that new phone. Anyway, I might get one this week, and it would be this one.

I've been away almost all of this week because I've been busy working at the bargain sale. It's at a venue twice as big as our usual one, so we got crowds twice as much. Considering the amount of manpower devoted to the sale is the same as before, I think we were a bit overwhelmed. I worked 3 days at the sale - 3 straight days of 12-hours. I was on my feet almost the whole time. My heels were killing me. And let's just say, I think my feet are still a tad stiff and swollen today.

Boy, am I glad my turn of duty at the blasted sale was over. I had lots to gripe about, but now they're all gone now. Water under the bridge, at least until I get back to work on Tuesday.

Tomorrow I might go phone-shopping in the morning or run other errands. In the afternoon we're going visiting some other family members or relatives, like the Eid tradition.

But today I think I ate enough rice and various yummy delicacies to last me for the whole month. Bleh.
